In-person design and branding for India's largest student hackathon series
In-person design and branding for Bharat Builds Tour, powered by WeMakeDevs and AWS, in collaboration with AWS Builder Center.

Project overview
TechFerment built the in-person design and branding for Bharat Builds Tour, a learning-by-building hackathon series for university students powered by WeMakeDevs and AWS, in collaboration with AWS Builder Center. We created the visual system and production-ready assets that branded the live tour: outdoor banners, tote bags, hanging atrium signs, role badges, and entrance arches.
Challenge
A multi-stop student hackathon series needs branding that feels national in scale and consistent on the ground across banners, entry arches, badges, and merch, while clearly showcasing WeMakeDevs, AWS, and AWS Builder Center.
Our approach
We designed an in-person brand system around a bold tour wordmark, India landmark illustration, and clean white-forward layouts, then produced print-ready templates for every physical touchpoint on the tour.

Inside the build

Design solution
An in-person design and branding kit that made Bharat Builds Tour feel cohesive across venues, with clear hierarchy, partner visibility, and assets ready for print and physical production throughout the hackathon series.
Results
Organizers ran the tour with a consistent on-site brand presence. Students ship something resume-worthy, compete for a ₹1 crore prize pool, and get fast-tracked into Amazon interviews, with all six runs online so anyone in India can enter.
